You can checkout library books from McKinley by using our online catalog. You can find this here on the school website. The link is in two places: on the top menu bar under the School pulldown tab, and below the schedule where it says Library Check Out.
Students must log in with their Student ID and password, just like they do when they first sign in to their Chromebook. Once signed into the McKinley library they can put items on HOLD or Add to Your List. Then we will pull the books they want and get them ready for pickup. Regularly scheduled pickup will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00-1:00 at the back library door on the playground or by appointment with the school office. Students can each have 3 books at a time.

Another way to get books to students is coming! We are working on a free lending library to be placed in our courtyard. It would be along the lines of the “give one, take one” libraries you see in neighborhoods. More information coming soon!
